HOT CHOCOLATE TIME!

After sledding, we all came back inside for a delicious cup of hot chocolate...with MARSHMALLOWS! The 49ers should be proud of themselves for their above-the-line behavior!

SLEDDING PARTY!

The 49ers finally got to have their Sledding Party for good behavior. We had to wait for Mother Nature to provide us with some snow. The ice below the snow made the hill super fast and super fun. Mr. Fiedler had a blast bombing down the hill with all of the kids. The 49ers are now working towards a TOY PARTY!

YUM! VEGEMITE!

Thanks to Peter and Madeleine, we all had the chance to take a big whiff of Vegemite--a favorite source of B Vitamins for many Australians. 2 out of 18 kids in the class were fond of the smell. I'm sure if they tried it, they might learn to like it!

Australian Currency

Peter and Madeleine brought in some Australian currency for us to see. Australian money is much more colorful than American money. They don't use pennies either!

Australian Visitors

This week, Brady's Australian cousins, Peter and Madeleine, came to our class to teach us about their country. They gave an outstanding presentation! They worked hard to create a poster and other visuals that helped them with their presentation. They talked a lot about the similarities and differences between Australia and the United States. The 49ers were a great audience for our guest speakers...and they learned "heaps" of information!
