Toy Boats

The 49ers spent some time in April being engineers. We had to plan, build and test toy boats. Our goal was to build a boat that would travel across a table in a straight line--using wind power. We made many changes and improvements to our boats after each test.

TOY PARTY

The 49ers earned a TOY PARTY for good behavior back in February. Everyone got to bring in a toy of their choice. Students had to create a detailed drawing of their toy and write a descriptive paragraph about it. They had some time to play with their toys in the afternoon. Currently, the 49ers are working hard to earn a "Maywood Idol Party"!!!
